The Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G converts 12G-SDI or SMPTE-2110 video to HDMI in a rack mount design. It offers the highest quality conversion among all SD, HD and Ultra HD video standards, including 3D LUT support for accurate calibration of HDMI displays. Availability is expected for June 2025.

This model has been designed to enable the use of the latest OLED TVs for accurate colour monitoring, for example in colour grading and editing rooms. The Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G includes two channels of XLR analog audio output for monitoring, allowing remote volume control and custom delay settings for connecting active speakers. It includes variable gain and delay for perfect AV synchronization and 3D LUTs for accurate color calibration of HDMI displays. The unit has a front LCD display with video preview, audio levels and menus, as well as a speaker and headphone output.

The converter was designed to integrate SDI devices into broadcast systems based on SMPTE-2110 IP technology. Rack-mount models can be easily installed directly to the racks of the devices you are converting. The model conforms to the SMPTE-2110 standard for IP video, including support for PTP clock and even NMOS protocol, so you can make connections using the video router control panel.

Balckmagic Design products feature the latest 12G-SDI video connectors. This means that you can connect both conventional broadcast equipment over SDI and modern broadcast systems built on SMPTE-2110 IP technology with a single device. 12G-SDI is multirate, which means that a single BNC cable can carry the signal from any device in both HD and Ultra HD formats. Supported are: 720p HD at 720p50 and 59.94p; 1080i HD (interlaced signal) at 1080i50 and 1080i59.94; 1080p HD at 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94 and 60p; Ultra HD (2160p) in all TV standards: 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 50, 59.94 and 60p.
