The Blackmagic 2110 IP UpDownCross 12G is a professional standards converter that allows you to convert signals between devices withSMPTE-2110 IP video, 12G-SDI and HDMI connections. Availability is expected for June 2025.

It offers superior conversion quality between all SD, HD and Ultra HD video standards. In addition, it provides a reference input for built-in re-synchronization and redundant power supply. In addition, the front panel USB port functions as an HD webcam.

The Blackmagic 2110 IP UpDownCross 12G is a high-end standards converter designed for live production and broadcast. It has a sleek design with LCD display, built-in speaker and headphone output. The LCD display also provides menus for setting the video standard.

The converter was designed to integrate SDI devices into broadcast systems based on SMPTE-2110 IP technology. Rack-mount models can be easily installed directly to the racks of the devices you are converting. The model conforms to the SMPTE-2110 standard for IP video, including support for PTP clock and even NMOS protocol, so you can make connections using the video router control panel.

The product is equipped with the latest 12G-SDI video connectors. This means that you can connect both conventional broadcast equipment over SDI and modern broadcast systems built on SMPTE-2110 IP technology with a single device. 12G-SDI is multirate, which means that a single BNC cable can carry the signal from any device in both HD and Ultra HD formats. Supported are: 720p HD at 720p50 and 59.94p; 1080i HD (interlaced signal) at 1080i50 and 1080i59.94; 1080p HD at 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94 and 60p; Ultra HD (2160p) in all TV standards: 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 50, 59.94 and 60p.
