The Viltrox AF 15mm f/1.7 XF is a high-performance, wide-angle prime lens with a full-frame equivalent focal length of 22.5mm. Its ultra-bright f/1.7 maximum aperture makes it an excellent choice for shooting in challenging low-light conditions and for creating a shallow depth of field with impressive bokeh. The optical design features twelve elements in ten groups, including three ED (extra-low dispersion), three HR (high refraction), and two aspherical lenses to effectively reduce flare, ghosting, and aberrations, ensuring improved contrast and sharpness. An STM autofocus motor provides fast, quiet, and precise focusing performance. The lens supports electronic aperture control and has a 9-blade diaphragm to produce beautifully smooth bokeh.
