A compact and versatile model in the Atomos A-Eye PTZ camera series with a 1/2.5" UHD CMOS sensor and 12x optical zoom, ideal for content creators, classrooms and corporate presentations. With automatic tracking, HDMI output up to 4K60, and an NDI|HX3 license, it is ideal for lecture halls, studios, and multi-camera IP installations. The camera can be controlled via VISCA, RS-232/RS-485, or UVC and powered by 12 V DC or PoE+.
PTZ camera for live production
This UHD camera with 12× optical zoom and automatic AI tracking keeps the speaker in frame during lectures, corporate presentations, and live broadcasts. It outputs 4K video at up to 60p via HDMI; for networked and multi-camera production, it also supports NDI|HX3, IP protocols, and remote control.
Detail Even Without a Cameraman
The 1/2.5-inch UHD CMOS sensor has 8.51 million effective pixels. The 12× optical zoom (4.4–52.8 mm) allows you to transition from a wider shot to a close-up without losing optical quality; in addition, 16× digital zoom is available. AI tracking follows the subject while the head rotates ±170° and tilts from −30° to +90°.
Up to 255 presets can be saved for repeatable camera positions. The camera is suitable for classrooms, conference rooms, studios, and churches, where the shot must change smoothly without a person standing directly next to the camera.
Connection to the control room
HDMI provides up to UHD 4K60, while 3G-SDI offers up to Full HD 60p. Ethernet transmits NDI|HX3 and supports RTSP, RTMP/RTMPS, SRT, and ONVIF; H.264, H.265, and MJPEG are available for network streams. Via USB, the camera can also be used as a UVC source and for local recording to USB storage.
Control is supported via VISCA over IP, RS-232, RS-485, and UVC. 3.5mm line-level inputs and outputs facilitate audio connectivity. Power can be supplied via 12 V DC or PoE+ (802.3at), so in a fixed installation, a single Ethernet cable can handle data, control, and power.
