Atomos A-Eye Control is a desktop control unit for multi-camera operation with Atomos A-Eye PTZ cameras. Its variable-speed 4D joystick controls pan, tilt and zoom; from one position, you can recall saved camera presets and adjust focus, exposure and white balance. A 5-inch LCD and customizable function buttons support fast operation during live production. The unit supports ONVIF control over a local network and can be powered by 12 V DC or PoE. It suits studios, lecture halls and live-event control rooms where one operator manages multiple fixed cameras.

One operator, multiple PTZ cameras

A dedicated desktop controller brings pan, tilt, zoom and camera settings together. Direct A-Eye cameras from one position, recall saved views and move between shots without operating each camera separately.

Precise movement at your fingertips

The variable-speed 4D joystick and separate pan/tilt and zoom speed knobs make smooth adjustments tactile. Direct buttons handle zoom, focus and iris, while the LCD keeps camera selection and settings visible during a live production.

Built for multi-camera production

A-Eye PTZ cameras combine AI-assisted tracking with HD or 4K video, so they can follow a subject while an operator takes control when needed. The controller discovers ONVIF-enabled cameras on the same local network, switches between them and recalls saved positions, patrols and movement patterns.

One network cable can carry control and power

Connect the RJ45 port to the production network for IP/ONVIF operation. Standard PoE or the supplied 12 V power adapter can power the controller; its non-slip silicone base keeps the compact panel steady on a desk. The current Atomos guide lists the physical RS-232/RS-422 ports as not functional, so use LAN control.

A single operator can manage fixed cameras from a desk or control room, adjust exposure and white balance, and recall up to 99 stored camera positions. This makes repeatable multi-angle coverage practical for teaching, corporate streaming and stage production.
