Atomos Sumo 19SE is a 19″ HDR monitor, recorder and four-channel switcher for video village, studio and multicamera production. Its 1200-nit, 10-bit DCI-P3 display and precise Log/HDR tools give the crew a large, dependable on-set image. Via HDMI and SDI it records up to 6Kp30 ProRes RAW or 4Kp60 ProRes/DNx, and can switch and record up to four 1080p60 ISO inputs with a program feed.

Sumo 19SE combines a large 1200-nit monitor with recording and live switching. It is made for video village, DIT stations, studio work and events where the whole team needs a dependable image while a high-quality master or ISO recording is created.

Confident exposure and colour monitoring

The capacitive SuperAtom IPS panel combines 1920 × 1080 resolution, 10-bit processing and a DCI-P3 gamut. It can be calibrated with Atomos Calibrator and a compatible Calibrite probe. AtomHDR, HLG, PQ and .cube 3D LUTs help the crew assess Log and HDR signals with confidence.

4-camera ISO recording

In multicamera mode it accepts up to four 1080p60 sources over 3G-SDI Level A, displays them in multiview and records individual ISOs as well as the program output. For single-source work it records ProRes RAW up to 6Kp30 via SDI, 4Kp60 RAW, or 10-bit Apple ProRes and Avid DNx.

Connections and power

Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0, two 12G-SDI inputs backward compatible with 6G/3G, two 3G-SDI inputs and 12G-SDI loop/playout. Two full-size XLR inputs with 48 V phantom power, XLR outputs, 24-bit/48 kHz PCM, speakers and a headphone output cover audio monitoring. Power comes from the supplied 4-pin XLR supply or optional V-Lock/Gold Mount batteries.
