Blackmagic Cloud Store Ultra 24TB is an extremely high-performance network storage solution in a compact 1RU design with server-style front-to-rear cooling. Twelve internal M.2 NVMe SSDs provide 24TB of fast shared space for a post-production team; two independent 100G QSFP28 network connections enable up to 200G bandwidth and load balancing with a managed switch.

Cloud Store Ultra 24TB combines 12 internal M.2 NVMe SSDs, two independent 100G network interfaces and a compact 1RU chassis. It is built for editors, colourists and other workstations accessing the same files at once.

Up to 200G aggregate bandwidth

Both 100G QSFP28 ports can receive their own IP address and subnet mask. With a managed switch, the unit supports up to 200G bandwidth and load balancing. A separate 1G RJ45 management port is provided for Cloud Store Setup and software updates.

Storage status at the workstation

The built-in 2.2 inch LCD, spin knob and three buttons show the storage name, capacity and use, Blackmagic Cloud Sync status, user activity, hardware status and network graphs. Two SDI and one HDMI output let you monitor this status externally.

Shared media without waiting

Cloud Store Ultra offers 24 TB of storage capacity, a 12-card RAID 0 flash memory core, two 100G Ethernet ports, RAID 5 support for data protection, two redundant power supplies, USB-C and Blackmagic Cloud Sync for global file distribution. It remains extremely fast even when many users access files at the same time.

Storage is shared through SMB and NFS with up to 200 computer connections; cloud synchronisation supports Amazon Web Services S3. Configuration and updates use USB-C or the separate 1G management Ethernet port.
