Blackmagic Design 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G connects broadcast cameras with SDI to SMPTE ST‑2110 IP video infrastructure. It uses copper 10G Ethernet via RJ‑45 and can be powered by PoE++; it supports SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p60, including SDI program return.
For control-room communication it provides a 5-pin XLR talkback-headset connection, volume control and a Push-to-Talk button. A universal 12V DC power supply is included.

SDI camera in 10G IP infrastructure
This compact bidirectional converter carries a camera SDI feed and program return over copper 10G Ethernet. For small control-room and studio installations it adds talkback, tally and PoE++ power without an optical SFP module.
One box for camera signal and communication
One 12G‑SDI input and one 12G‑SDI output carry 16 channels of embedded audio. Talkback is carried on channels 15/16 of SDI and 2110 IP video; LEDs show IP lock, SDI lock and tally.
Connecting SDI equipment to IP workflows
Blackmagic 2110 IP converters integrate SDI equipment into SMPTE ST‑2110 infrastructure. The standard defines transport, synchronization and description of 10-bit video, audio and ancillary data over IP. A converter can re-synchronize SDI to PTP and supports SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p60. In a network, connections can be controlled through NMOS as a virtual router; simple installations can also operate point-to-point without a complex Ethernet switch.
10G Ethernet enables compact, efficient IP products. For uncompressed 10-bit Ultra HD above 30 fps, the range uses the open Blackmagic IP10 codec with 8-sample low latency and no licence fee. This copper model uses RJ‑45 10G Ethernet and supports remote PoE++ power.
