Monitor SMPTE-2110 video and audio on an HDMI monitor or television even over long optical runs. Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini IP to HDMI SFP has an SFP slot for a 10G Ethernet optical module and also accepts 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI optical modules for regular SDI video. The HDMI output delivers HD, Ultra HD and 4K DCI up to 60p; the converter runs from the included 12V power supply.

IP Monitoring over Long Optical Runs

The miniature converter brings video and audio from an SMPTE-2110 network to an HDMI monitor or television. The standard SFP slot lets you use an optical module for remote display.

Optical fiber for SDI too

Besides a 10G Ethernet optical module for 2110 IP, the SFP slot also accepts 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI optical modules, so the converter can display regular SDI video over fiber.

IEEE 1588 PTP v2 (ST 2059) synchronization and NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 connection management.

12V power supply

Included universal 12V power supply with a locking 5.5 mm connector; operating range 12–16 V.

IP in, picture on HDMI

A single 10G SMPTE-2110 input carries video and up to 16 channels of embedded audio. The converter has one HDMI output for instant monitoring in HD, Ultra HD and 4K DCI up to 60p.

An optical model without PoE

Unlike the copper version, this is not an RJ-45 and PoE++ model: it has an SFP slot for optical 10G Ethernet and runs from the included 12V power supply.

For managed broadcast operation

The converter conforms to SMPTE ST 2110-20, -21, -30 and -40. PTP v2 (ST 2059) provides time synchronization and NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 make device discovery and connection management easy. For Ultra HD at higher frame rates it uses the low latency Blackmagic IP10 codec.

Connections

One side has the SFP slot for the optical 2110 IP input, an input lock indicator, USB and a 12V DC power input; the other side has the HDMI output.
