The Blackmagic Cloud Dock 2 is a compact half width 1RU network dock for two separate 2.5″ SATA or U.2 SSD disks. Two 10G Ethernet ports give multiple workstations access to the media, the HDMI output shows the storage status and sync with Blackmagic Cloud extends sharing to remote teams. Disks are not included, you use your own.

Camera media on the network without waiting for copies

Plug the disks recorded on a camera into the dock and editors and colorists access them directly over the network. Sync keeps a fast local copy of the files at every location.

Removable hot-swap disks

The two bays take 2.5″ SATA SSD, SATA HDD or U.2 SSD disks up to 11 mm high and the disks can be changed during operation.

Storage status on a monitor

The HDMI output shows capacity, users, sync and network graphs, and the LED bezels around the bays show disk activity.

For film and television

Record to SSDs, including fast U.2 NVMe, and then turn them into network storage for multiple editors and colorists with the dock. Depending on the SSD brand it even handles large 12K Blackmagic RAW files.

Sync with Blackmagic Cloud

Selected folders sync with Blackmagic Cloud, so every location works with a fast local copy of the files, even when your computer is turned off. The dock understands proxy workflows: a whole timeline is shared in a few minutes.
