Blackmagic DeckLink Duo 2 Mini is a multi-channel low profile PCI Express card with four independent bidirectional 3G-SDI connectors. Each channel can be set separately for capture or playback of SD and HD video up to 1080p60, so one card with miniature DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors replaces four separate cards in a compact workstation or server.

DeckLink Duo 2 Mini works like four separate cards in one slot. Every 3G-SDI connector can be set independently as an input or output – even in low profile workstations and servers.

Low profile, DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors
The compact card is 100 mm long, weighs 87.5 g and fits low profile workstations and servers. The miniature DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors save space on the bracket; the card connects to regular BNC cabling with DIN 1.0/2.3 to BNC adapter cables, sold separately.
Playout and digital signage
One computer can drive several screens or outputs at the same time. It suits media servers, multi-screen digital signage, playout and real time multi-channel capture.
SD and HD formats up to 1080p60
Every channel supports NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i, 1080PsF and 1080p up to 60 frames per second with 16 channels of embedded audio. The card handles 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 up to 1080p30 in playback and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats, the Rec. 601 and 709 color spaces and static HDR metadata with HLG and PQ transfer characteristics; the reference input accepts Black Burst and Tri-Sync.
Software and SDK
The Desktop Video software includes Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, Desktop Video Utility and the driver for macOS and Windows, and Media Express, Desktop Video Utility and the driver for Linux. The PCI Express x4 generation 2 interface works in x4, x8 and x16 slots; among Mac computers, a Mac Pro with PCI Express slots is required. The card draws 10 W and the Desktop Video SDK exposes every channel to applications separately.
