The Blackmagic Fairlight Desktop Console is a portable mixing console for the Fairlight page in DaVinci Resolve. Twelve motorized faders, touch sensitive knobs, an LCD above every channel and an HDMI output that shows the status of the whole console on an external monitor speed up mixing in a home studio, a small suite or on the road.

Mix with your hands, not the mouse
The controls you need are right under your fingers: pan, solo, mute, dynamics, EQ and plug-in parameters. Work is faster than it can be with a keyboard and mouse, and suits jingles, web shows and smaller post-production.
Automation in real time
The faders and rotary knobs are touch sensitive, so the console records level changes as well as complex plug-in parameters and the mix is created live. Six automation buttons switch automation on, choose the record mode and show curves.
Flexible monitoring
The monitoring section switches between headphones, nearfield and main monitors up to 3D formats, sets levels and can dim or mute the output. Talkback requires the Fairlight Audio Interface.
Twelve fully equipped channels
Every channel has a motorized 100mm fader, select, solo and mute buttons, a multi function rotary knob and a status LCD showing the track or bus name, number, color, routing, level, automation and bus assignment. Any channel can be assigned to a track, a group of tracks or a bus, and fader groups can be switched.
Fast navigation and configuration
Transport buttons and a quality jog/shuttle wheel move around the timeline, start and stop playback, zoom and set track levels. The buttons operate plug-ins as well as the built-in EQ and dynamics. Focus mode assigns the buttons and knobs to the plug-in functions of a single track, so several EQ bands can be adjusted at once.
HDMI preview on a monitor
With an HDMI monitor connected you see the levels of all channels, the interfaces of EQs, compressors and other plug-ins, the busses and the channel strip parameters, without opening more windows over your timeline. The interface appears by itself as soon as you start adjusting a parameter.
