The Blackmagic Design Focus Demand is an optional accessory for compatible Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro models. It transfers focus control for MFT lenses to the tripod handle, similar to standard studio cameras with broadcast lenses.
It connects via USB-C and features a pair of USB-C ports for easier cable management. It allows for precise and ergonomic focus control without the cameraman having to let go of the camera head handles or reach directly onto the lens.
Precise Focusing Directly from the Handle
The Focus Demand controller transfers manual focus control of an MFT lens to the tripod handle, so the cameraman doesn’t have to release the tripod head or reach for the lens.
Natural workflow in the studio
