HyperDeck Extreme Rack Kit joins two half-rack HyperDeck Extreme series units into a single assembly for a standard rack or road case.
Recorder and controls in one unit
A typical setup is a HyperDeck Extreme next to a HyperDeck Extreme Control – the result is a unit that is operated like a classic broadcast recorder.

HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR, HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR and HyperDeck Extreme Control in any combination.
For racks and road cases
The lightweight kit is designed for equipment racks as well as the road cases of mobile setups.
What the kit does
The rack kit mounts two HyperDeck Extreme series units, each three rack units high and half rack wide, side by side in a standard 19″ rack. It suits fixed studio installations, OB vans and road cases, where it creates a clean, shared assembly with no improvised shelves.
Recorder with controls, or two recorders
You can mount two HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR units, two HyperDeck Extreme Control units or a combination of both side by side. The kit is also intended for HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR, which has the same chassis and the same dimensions as the 8K model.
Archiving workstation
Combining the recorder and the control panel in one rack space makes working with legacy broadcast tape decks and modern file-based recording easier to follow.
