Blackmagic MultiView 16 is a native Ultra HD multiviewer that displays video on Ultra HD televisions and monitors with twice the resolution per view compared with traditional HD devices of this type. Blackmagic MultiView 16 synchronizes each input independently and displays up to 16 video channels in any combination of SD, HD and Ultra HD formats at once.

MultiView 16 combines sixteen synchronized 6G-SDI inputs into a clear 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 layout on an HD or Ultra HD monitor.
One screen instead of a monitor wall
MultiView multiviewers display multiple SDI sources on one monitor or television – without dozens of monitors, cables and power supplies.
Independent input re-sync
Each input has its own re-sync, so you can mix different formats and frame rates.

Sixteen sources in 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 layouts
MultiView 16 has sixteen 6G-SDI inputs compatible with SD, HD and Ultra HD, each with its own re-sync, so you can connect sources with different standards at once. You can choose a 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 layout, and Solo mode shows the selected input full screen.
Sharp preview on Ultra HD
1080p and native Ultra HD output lets you connect professional HD monitors via SDI as well as Ultra HD televisions via HDMI. On an Ultra HD display four HD views keep their full 1920 × 1080 resolution, and in the 4×4 layout each view is 960 × 540.
Front panel like a router
The elegant front panel with buttons, LCD and scroll wheel lets you quickly route a source to any position in the grid, just like a video router. Remotely, MultiView 16 is controlled via Ethernet with software for Windows and Mac, Videohub hardware panels or via RS-422.
Reference, loops and developer kit
The reference input accepts Black Burst and Tri-Sync, all sixteen inputs have SDI loop outputs, and the multiview goes out via two HD-SDI outputs, two 6G-SDI outputs and HDMI. For studio integration the Videohub SDK and the Videohub Ethernet protocol are available.
Connections and controls
The front has source and control panel buttons, an LCD and a scroll wheel. On the rear you will find the power connector, reference input, Ethernet, RS-422, USB, sixteen SDI inputs and sixteen SDI loop outputs, the HDMI output and two 6G-SDI and two HD-SDI outputs.

Ultra HD support
Blackmagic MultiView 16 supports output in 1080p as well as native Ultra HD resolution and lets you connect classic professional HD monitors via SDI as well as Ultra HD televisions via HDMI for a sharp and detailed picture. You can choose a 2×2 (four sources), 3×3 (nine sources) or 4×4 (sixteen sources) layout. The unit has sixteen 6G-SDI inputs compatible with SD, HD and Ultra HD standards, and each input has its own re-sync, so you can connect up to sixteen sources with different standards at once.
Simplify monitoring
Blackmagic MultiView 16 is ideal for control rooms and studios that monitor a larger number of sources. There is no need to connect several monitors and dozens of cables or deal with high power demands: cameras, recorders, switchers or routers connect to MultiView 16 and everything is watched on a single Ultra HD monitor. Native Ultra HD offers four times the number of pixels, so MultiView 16 displays four HD sources at full 1920 × 1080 resolution in a 2×2 layout or sixteen HD videos at 960 × 540.
Reliable and simple
MultiView 16 has an elegant front panel with buttons for quick source selection. Video can be shown at any position in the grid using the buttons or the scroll wheel, just like video routers. It is controlled remotely over the network with an application for Windows and macOS or with Videohub hardware panels; a developer kit for custom applications is also available.
