Blackmagic MultiView 4 HD is a multiview device that lets you monitor four independent SDI sources on a single display. You can watch any combination of SD and HD signals with different frame rates at the same time. Blackmagic MultiView 4 HD features both SDI and HDMI outputs, so it works with professional SDI monitors as well as regular HD televisions.

Four views without four monitors
MultiView 4 HD has four completely independent 3G-SDI inputs compatible with SD and HD equipment. All inputs are re-synchronized, so you can display NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i and 1080p60 at the same time – without extra monitors, cables and power supplies.
SDI and HDMI outputs
The HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs let you use a professional SDI monitor as well as an affordable HDMI television; the HDMI output reads the EDID of the connected display. With a television this makes a very affordable professional multiview solution for control rooms, broadcast trucks and live production positions.
Plug and play, setup via USB
Once connected, the device immediately displays a 2×2 layout. Audio meters, the source for the audio output, custom labels and other functions are set via USB in the MultiView software for Mac and Windows. Settings are preserved even after a power failure.
A small box for control room and location
Low power consumption of 5.5 W, an operating range of 6–36 V DC and the included 12 V universal power supply with socket adapters make it easy to use in the studio and on the road.

Four views without four monitors, cabling and power supplies
Blackmagic MultiView 4 HD features four completely independent 3G-SDI inputs that are compatible with existing SD and HD equipment. All inputs are re-synchronized, so you can connect virtually any SDI source including NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i or 1080p60 and display them all at once on the destination display. There is no need to connect several monitors, cables and additional power supplies to preview each source. Simply connect cameras, video recorders or a switcher to the SDI inputs and display everything at once on a single HD display. The HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs let you use professional SDI monitors as well as affordable HDMI televisions; with an HDMI television this makes a very affordable professional multiview solution for control rooms, broadcast trucks and live production positions.
Thanks to plug and play operation, the unit works immediately in the default 2×2 layout. Further settings – audio meter display, the source for the audio output and other functions – are made via USB in the MultiView software for Mac and Windows.
