The SmartView Duo monitor features two 8 inch LCD screens in a compact design for mounting in equipment racks. It supports SD, HD and 3G-SDI and is an ideal addition to post production studios, television control rooms and live broadcast facilities. SmartView products can also be controlled remotely via Ethernet. SmartView Duo lets you preview an SDI signal anywhere you need it.

SmartView Duo combines two 8 inch screens for independent preview of SD, HD and 3G-SDI sources in an extremely thin rack mount design.
SDI monitoring wherever you need it
SmartView monitors mount in racks, broadcast trucks and flight cases, switch the input format automatically and can all be set up from one computer via Ethernet.

Two independent monitors in one panel
Each of the two 8″ displays has its own SDI input with loop output, so you can check two different sources side by side. High quality filtering and scaling retain fine detail, and fully digital processing ensures accurate, consistent color across all monitors.
SD, HD and 3G-SDI with auto switching
SmartView Duo supports SD, HD and 3G-SDI including 1080 progressive and 2K formats over 3G-SDI. When the format changes, it switches automatically in less than a second.
Thin chassis for racks and flight cases
SmartView monitors are extremely thin and light, so they save space in the equipment racks of broadcast trucks and studios. When mounted at the very top or bottom of a rack, the unit can be installed upside down and the image rotates automatically for the best viewing angle.
Central management via Ethernet
Via Ethernet with loop through, all monitors can be set up from one computer in SmartView Utility for Mac and Windows, and settings can be copied from one monitor to another. An identify function shows which monitor you are currently adjusting. Updates are loaded via USB.
Connections and controls
On the rear, each of the two monitors has its own SDI input and output. In the middle are the tally connector, Ethernet with loop through, USB 2.0 and the 12 V DC power input.

Accurate SDI monitoring without an unnecessarily deep rack
SmartView
SmartView products are ideal tools for checking SDI signal quality. They are extremely thin and light, which suits them not only to fixed installations but also to work in the field, and they switch automatically between SD, HD and 3G-SDI standards.
