Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 Blackmagic Design
Kód: ACINSTUDMFT/G24PDFG2XPodrobný popis
Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 is an upgraded studio camera model with built-in live streaming. To the features of the 4K Plus G2 it adds 10G Ethernet, over which a single Cat 6A cable carries video, program return, tally, talkback, control and PoE power, plus XLR audio inputs with phantom power, a 5-pin talkback connector and a bright 7″ HDR screen with 2000 nits. It records 12-bit Blackmagic RAW to external USB disks.
Studio camera for professional SDI switchers
It adds 10G Ethernet with power over the cable, XLR audio, 5-pin talkback, a bright HDR screen and H.264 live streaming to the features of the Plus model.

Like SMPTE fiber over copper cable
Over 10G Ethernet a single cable carries the camera video, program return, timecode, reference, tally, talkback and control. When connected to the Studio Converter, the converter powers the camera over the same cable, so you need no power socket at the camera.
One link instead of SMPTE fiber
Traditional studio cameras use expensive SMPTE fiber. The Pro model does the same over a low cost Cat 6A copper cable via 10G Ethernet. At the control room end, the Blackmagic Studio Converter, a dedicated converter, breaks out the signals to SDI and supplies PoE power to the camera.

Live streaming from anywhere
The camera generates an H.264 HD live stream via RTMP and sends it over the internet to the studio, for example to an ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO switcher or an ATEM Streaming Bridge converter, or directly to YouTube, Facebook or Twitch. It connects via Ethernet or via a 4G or 5G phone on the USB-C port.

XLR audio with phantom power
Two balanced XLR inputs switchable between mic and line level have 48 V phantom power, so you can connect condenser microphones directly. The 3.5 mm stereo input can also be used for timecode.

Tally and talkback
The large tally light glows red when on air, green for preview and orange for ISO recording, and a second tally light at the rear informs the operator. Talkback with the switcher runs on SDI channels 15 and 16, and a headset connects via 5-pin XLR or a 3.5 mm TRRS connector.

Blackmagic RAW recording to USB disks
Two USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 ports capture 12-bit Blackmagic RAW to an external disk, so you can use the camera without a switcher anywhere you work with a tripod. The ports are also used for Focus Demand and Zoom Demand controllers.

Connectors on the sides
On the right side there is an HDMI 2.0 output, 12G-SDI in and out, 10G Ethernet and 12 V DC power with a locking connector and a 4-pin XLR for an external supply or battery. The left side has two USB-C ports, XLR inputs and connectors for talkback, microphone and headphones.

Connectors and controls
Connectors, buttons and mounting points according to the manufacturer’s drawing.

More information
Blackmagic Studio Cameras have the same features as large studio cameras, miniaturized into a compact and portable design. With the dynamic range and color rendering of digital film cameras they handle extremely difficult lighting conditions and produce cinematic looking images. The sensor offers sensitivity up to ISO 25,600 and good images even in dimly lit venues. You get talkback, tally, camera control, a built-in color corrector, Blackmagic RAW recording to USB disks and live streaming, which the 4K Pro G2 and 6K Pro models offer over Ethernet or mobile data, so you can place the camera almost anywhere in the world.
Although the cameras are designed for live production, Blackmagic RAW recording to USB disks lets you use them anywhere you work with a tripod. The large 7″ viewfinder makes them ideal for talk shows, television production, news, sports, education, lectures, conferences and even weddings. The bright screen with side handles, touchscreen and physical controls makes it easy to follow shots and comfortable to operate during long productions. The tripod mount with mounting plate makes setup and balancing easier.
The sensors combined with Blackmagic Generation 5 Color Science deliver the same imaging technology as digital film cameras, including 13 stops of dynamic range for deeper blacks and brighter whites. The color corrector can be controlled directly from the switcher. The 4K models capture 3840 × 2160, the 6K model 6144 × 3456, and all models support frame rates from 23.98 to 60 fps.
EF and MFT mounts
With EF (Studio Camera 6K Pro) and MFT (4K models) lens mounts, the cameras are compatible with a wide range of affordable photographic lenses, which offer excellent quality because they are designed for high resolution photography. The optional Blackmagic Zoom Demand and Focus Demand controllers let you control the lens from the tripod handles, just like large studio cameras with B4 lenses. They connect via USB-C, so they work with all Studio Camera models, and each has two USB-C ports for easier cable routing.
SDI connections and talkback
Unlike consumer cameras, Studio Cameras have SDI connections with talkback, so the switcher operator can talk to the camera operators during the show and guide shot selection, avoiding the problem of all cameras having the same shot. The 4K Pro G2 and 6K Pro models have a talkback connector on the side for standard 5-pin XLR headsets, plus 12G-SDI, 10GBASE-T Ethernet and balanced XLR audio inputs. The 10G Ethernet connection carries video, tally, communication and camera power over a single cable, similar to SMPTE fiber but using a much cheaper Cat 6A copper cable.
Live streaming
The 4K Pro G2 and 6K Pro models have built-in live streaming: a camera in a remote location generates an H.264 HD stream and sends it over the internet back to a studio with a compatible switcher. Simply connect the camera to the internet via Ethernet or connect a 4G or 5G phone to the USB-C port.
