The unit automatically handles SD, HD, 2K and Ultra HD signals. It supports single-link 12G-SDI as well as dual- and quad-link workflows, making it suitable for both legacy and current infrastructure.

Up to 16 embedded audio channels, timecode and closed captions pass through the workflow. Reference input and the optical interface simplify synchronized installations.

Its main strength was the combination of up, down and cross conversion with motion processing, noise reduction, aspect-ratio conversion and frame-rate conversion in a single device.
