One unit, both directions
A 12G-SDI input and two reclocked 12G-SDI outputs support HD, 2K, Ultra HD and DCI 4K. Gigabit Ethernet carries HD up to 1080p60; an optional 10G optical Ethernet SFP extends the workflow to Ultra HD up to 2160p60.
Designed for routed facilities
Use Blackmagic Videohub software or compatible hardware panels to configure and switch IP video. USB and Ethernet handle setup and firmware updates, while the optional Smart Panel adds a 2.2-inch LCD and direct controls.
Low-latency SDI over IP
Bidirectional SDI-to-IP converter with low-latency TICO compression. Routes HD over built-in Gigabit Ethernet and Ultra HD up to 2160p60 through an optional 10G optical Ethernet SFP.
The IP Video model converts SDI to the low-latency 4:1 TICO codec and a second unit converts it back to SDI. Built-in gigabit Ethernet carries HD up to 1080p60, while an optional 10G SFP extends the route to Ultra HD up to 2160p60. Configuration and switching use standard Blackmagic Videohub software and hardware panels.
Teranex Mini uses a carefully designed crossflow cooling system with an internal heat pipe. The converters can operate reliably side by side in a rack, on a desktop or in a mobile system without the powerful 12G‑SDI electronics creating unnecessary noise.
Multi-rate 12G‑SDI automatically detects SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60 while remaining compatible with older SDI equipment. A single standard BNC cable therefore serves both current and legacy studio workflows.
The built-in universal AC supply removes reliance on an external adapter. Ethernet provides remote administration and can also supply backup PoE+ power; the optional Smart Panel adds an LCD preview, rotary control and direct settings. Up to three units fit the optional 1U rack shelf.
