Analog, digital and optical outputs
De-embed two analog channels through balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA, an optical S/PDIF signal through TOSLINK, or four professional AES/EBU channels over XLR. The right XLR can instead provide timecode output.
Video remains available
A reclocked 12G-SDI loop output passes the original picture and all 16 embedded channels onward. Automatic multi-rate operation covers SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD and DCI 4K.

Teranex Mini uses a carefully designed crossflow cooling system with an internal heat pipe. The converters can operate reliably side by side in a rack, on a desktop or in a mobile system without the powerful 12G‑SDI electronics creating unnecessary noise.
Multi-rate 12G‑SDI automatically detects SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60 while remaining compatible with older SDI equipment. A single standard BNC cable therefore serves both current and legacy studio workflows.
The built-in universal AC supply removes reliance on an external adapter. Ethernet provides remote administration and can also supply backup PoE+ power; the optional Smart Panel adds an LCD preview, rotary control and direct settings. Up to three units fit the optional 1U rack shelf.
