The Universal Videohub 288 Crosspoint card is the control and switching core of the Universal Videohub 288 frame. It routes up to 288 × 288 SDI paths and switches the matching deck control ports. It carries Ethernet and RS-422 for router control, a reference input, status lights and an alarm GPI connector; two cards in the frame provide redundant control.

A second card for 24/7 operation
The Universal Videohub 288 frame takes two 288 × 288 crosspoint cards – the second one provides redundancy for round-the-clock operation.

Control, sync and monitoring on one card
The card has Ethernet for the local network and control panels, RS-422 serial for third party systems, USB 2.0, a BNC reference input and an alarm GPI connector. Two cards in the 288 frame create a redundant switching and control path.
Card front panel
Handles for pulling out the card sit on both sides, with status lights, the reference input, the RS-422 router control connector, USB 2.0, Ethernet and the alarm GPI connector between them.
