Blackmagic Design Videohub Master Control Pro is a 1U network panel for fast access to all sources and destinations of a large router. It combines 21 assignable buttons, a spin knob and an information LCD, and supports both Videohub and ST 2110 NMOS systems. It is powered via PoE or its internal power supply and set up via USB-C.

Direct entry
Type a label with the buttons – for example CAM and a number – and the source is selected.

A route becomes active only after confirmation, so nothing is switched by mistake.

Spin knob and LCD
Press SRC or DEST and scroll through sources and destinations with the spin knob. The LCD shows the selected source and destination and the router status, so you keep track even on a large router.
Direct entry with buttons
Group buttons (CAM, VTR, MON, CCU, EDIT) and digits let you enter a label directly, for example “MON 3”. The spin knob then scrolls through all destinations of the same name. Both methods can be combined freely.
Custom button labels
The front cover unscrews and slides off, so you can insert your own labels under the clear buttons. The buttons are lit by RGB and white LEDs with adjustable brightness, so they stay readable even in a dark control room.
Videohub and ST 2110
The panel can be configured as a Videohub router controller or as an NMOS controller for ST 2110 systems (NMOS IS-04, IS-05 and PTP v2).
Ethernet with PoE+ and loop through
The panel connects to a regular computer network. The input port supports power over Ethernet, so with a PoE switch no power cable is needed; the second port loops through to other panels or computers. Otherwise the panel runs on its internal 100–240 V AC power supply.
Setup via USB-C
Buttons, sources, destinations and the router address are set with free software for Mac and Windows via USB-C; firmware is updated via USB or Ethernet. The button configuration is preserved after a power failure and can be saved for later recall.
Connections and controls
The front has configurable source and destination buttons, SRC, DEST, CLEAR, LEVEL and TAKE buttons, an LCD and a spin knob; the rear panel has the AC power input, USB-C, Ethernet with PoE+, Ethernet loop through and RS-422 in and out (for future implementation).

Dimensions 482 × 117.92 × 44.2 mm (W × D × H), weight 1 kg. It occupies 1 RU in a 19″ rack.

Fast navigation through a large routing matrix
Videohub Master Control Pro provides several ways to connect router inputs and outputs. An operator can choose a source or destination and locate the required point quickly with the spin knob. The integrated LCD shows available routing points and the current route, making even a large studio matrix manageable.
Direct selection is also available through assignable and numeric buttons. Combining a label with a number creates practical choices such as “monitor 3”, while the knob can scroll through every similarly named destination. Both control methods can be mixed freely to suit the job.
The solid metal chassis, durable RGB buttons, metal spin knob and color LCD are designed for daily studio operation. Ethernet input supports PoE, the second port provides pass-through networking, and an internal 100–240 V AC supply offers alternative power. Current firmware controls Videohub routers and ST 2110 devices through NMOS.
