The Saramonic CamMic is a compact, ultra-light, plug-in powered shotgun microphone that delivers clear, broadcast-quality sound to DSLR, mirrorless, video cameras and mobile devices. Lightweight and compact, it features impressively quality construction that’s unexpected for such an affordable microphone. The CamMic is a high-quality piece of equipment that provides premium sound for your video productions. The output cable of the CamMic is removable. An 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS cable for connecting to cameras is included, in addition to a 1/8" (3.5mm) TRRS cable for connecting to smartphones and tablets.

This lightweight microphone mounts directly to DSLRs, mirrorless cameras and camcorders, or to smartphones and tablets using an adapter (available separately), and provides significantly better sound compared to the built-in microphones in these devices. Thanks to its plug-and-play feature, it's very easy to use right out of the box. With no installation or batteries to charge, you can start recording YouTube videos, Facebook Live streams and interviews immediately at home or on the go.

Shotgun microphone for focused sound
Best used within 4' of the subject, the CamMic microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern that focuses the sound pickup in front of the camera while eliminating distracting background noises. Turning on the 80 Hz low-pass filter helps reduce unwanted low-frequency noise caused by traffic and air conditioning, making room for clearer speech and dialogue.

Built-in shock mount reduces vibrations and shocks
A smart design feature of the CamMic microphone is the rugged integrated shock mount. It helps isolate the microphone from handling noise and vibration when you're in motion, significantly reducing low-pitched fogging.

Double-layer wind protection blocks wind noise
The included dual-layer, sphere-like windscreen gives the CamMic microphone a sleek and functional look while blocking wind noise and protecting it from the elements.

Versatile mounting options
The CamMic's integrated locking microphone base mount has a 1/4"-20 thread at the bottom and is ready to attach to your camera, gimbal, tripod, shoulder pole or stand. The microphone can also be attached to a smartphone using the phone's tripod adapter clip equipped with a cold socket (available separately).
