The CineTreak Cinelive C2S is a compact hybrid switcher with four HDMI and four 3G-SDI inputs, a 5.5″ display, HDMI and SDI outputs, H.264 recording, streaming to two RTMP destinations and control of up to four PTZ cameras via VISCA IP. HDMI and SDI sources can be mixed, and the switcher handles four at a time.

HDMI and 3G-SDI in one compact desk

HDMI and BNC connectors side by side, physical buttons, a T-Bar and a joystick: the Cinelive C2S replaces signal converters and a separate PTZ camera controller in a compact body with an aluminium panel.

HDMI and SDI without converters

Each of the four channels accepts HDMI or SDI, so one production can combine HDMI cameras with professional SDI camcorders.

Four HDMI or SDI channels

Each of the four input channels has both an HDMI and a 3G-SDI (BNC) connector. HDMI and SDI sources can be mixed, and the switcher handles up to four at a time. HDMI inputs 1 and 2 accept up to 4K60 (HDMI 2.0).

Two streams and a webcam

The built-in encoder streams over Ethernet directly to two RTMP destinations at once without a computer. The USB-C (UVC) port connects the switcher to a computer as a webcam for OBS, vMix, Teams, Zoom or Skype.

Recording to SD card or USB

Record the programme in H.264 to an MP4, TS or FLV file on an SD card or USB drive and play the recording back instantly – even during a live broadcast.

DSK, chroma key and logos

Chroma key and luma key create a virtual studio, and the DSK downstream key adds subtitles, a logo or graphics to the live and recorded picture.

PIP and POP

Two PIP windows and POP mode with adjustable size, position, zoom and cropping – for interviews, presentations and game streams with a camera.

Connectors on the rear panel

From the left: DC 12 V power, LAN, SD card slot, USB-C (UVC), USB-A, HDMI PGM and AUX outputs, HDMI inputs 4 to 1, two microphone inputs and a 3.5 mm output. Above them sit the SDI OUT output and SDI inputs 1 to 4 (BNC).

Typical setup

Connect HDMI or SDI cameras to the four channels, another source to the AUX input, plus microphones and headphones. The programme goes to the PGM and AUX outputs, to two RTMP streams, to a computer over USB-C (UVC) and to the recording.
