The Datavideo HS-3200 is a portable, case-style production studio that combines a 12-channel HD switcher, a 17.3-inch Full HD multiview monitor, an H.264 streaming encoder and SD-card recording. Connect up to eight SDI and four HDMI sources, route balanced audio through XLR inputs and outputs, then switch, stream and record from one unit. Per-input scaling, up to eight picture-in-picture windows, keying tools and flexible outputs help build a professional live-production workflow without separate monitoring, streaming and recording appliances. The HS-3200 is suited to sports and esports, concerts, seminars, corporate events and mobile broadcast production.

12 INPUTS, 9 OUTPUTS AND SCALING

Eight SDI and four HDMI inputs accept up to 12 repeatable, routable sources. A built-in scaler on every input converts different formats for Full HD production. The output layout includes five SDI and four HDMI connections; one HDMI output is assignable to different production signals while the other three provide program video.

The integrated 17.3-inch, 1920 × 1080 monitor displays a customizable multiview, so you can monitor the production directly at the workstation.

SWITCH, STREAM AND RECORD

The built-in H.264/AVC encoder streams using common protocols including RTMP/RTMPS, HLS and SRT, with a configurable bit rate up to 10 Mbps. At the same time, you can record MP4 files to an SD card. Four balanced analogue XLR inputs and two XLR outputs complement embedded audio; audio delay can be calibrated by up to 16 frames.

Production tools include four upstream keyers, two downstream keyers, eight PiP windows (four through keyers and four through Flex Source), two logos, static and animated graphics, DVE transitions and stingers. Flex Source adds a compositing layer and supports saved user presets.

FOR MOBILE EVENTS AND LIVE BROADCASTS

The reinforced plastic case makes it easier to transport a complete production system between venues. The HS-3200 is designed for sports and esports, concerts, seminars, corporate productions and other live events where a quick setup and on-site program control are useful.

For a standalone switcher without the integrated monitor and case, Datavideo offers the related SE-3200 configuration.

FLEXIBLE CONTROL FOR MULTI-CAMERA PRODUCTION

Any of the 12 inputs can be assigned through the crosspoint routing. Four upstream keys support chroma, linear and luma keying as well as picture-in-picture; two downstream keys support linear or luma keying. PiP windows can be adjusted for ratio, position and size. Transitions include WIPE, MIX, DVE, CUT and stinger; 32 wipe patterns let you adjust border width and colour softness.

The unit supports two static or animated logos with configurable position and size, frame-store use of input sources, Tri-Level or Black Burst reference synchronisation, and red/green tally outputs. Two user presets can be recalled quickly. Free CG-200 software lets you use a computer's HDMI output as an interface for title graphics.
