The Datavideo PTC-280 is a dark-blue 4K PTZ camera for conference rooms, education, worship spaces, live events and remote production. Its 12× optical zoom, 16× digital zoom and 255 preset positions make it easy to recall repeatable framing, from a wide room view to a close shot of a speaker. Video is available simultaneously over HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI and Gigabit Ethernet/IP, allowing the camera to feed a production system and network workflow in parallel. HDMI supports up to 2160p50/60 in YUV 4:2:0; SDI supports up to 1080p50/60. The built-in encoder supports two IP streams and H.264, H.265 or MJPEG. Control is available over IR, RS-422, DVIP, VISCA, Pelco-D/P and NDI; the camera also has a 3.5 mm stereo line input and can be powered by 12 V DC or IEEE 802.3at PoE+.

ONE CAMERA, MULTIPLE VIDEO PATHS

The Datavideo PTC-280 is a dark-blue 4K PTZ camera for conference rooms, education, houses of worship, live events and remote production. Its 12× optical zoom, 16× digital zoom and 255 preset positions make it practical for a fixed installation that needs both a wide room view and repeatable close-ups.

Send video simultaneously through HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI and Gigabit Ethernet/IP. HDMI supports up to 2160p50/60 in YUV 4:2:0; SDI supports up to 1080p50/60. The camera can also encode two IP streams for distribution over a local network or supported streaming platforms.

REMOTE CONTROL FROM THE ROOM OR OVER IP

Recall up to 255 camera positions and adjust pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris and white balance using the included infrared remote, the RS-422 serial connection, or network control. Supported control protocols include DVIP, Sony VISCA over IP, VISCA, Pelco-D, Pelco-P and NDI control.

The PTZ View Assist app can monitor and control up to four compatible Datavideo cameras. The PTC-280 also supports external stereo line-level audio through its 3.5 mm input and has a 1/4″-20 UNC tripod thread.

STREAMING AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION

The built-in encoder supports H.264, H.265 and MJPEG with RTSP/RTP, RTMP/RTMPS, SRT, ONVIF, multicast and NDI|HX network workflows. Dual-stream output lets the camera provide a main stream and a lower-resolution secondary stream at the same time.

Use the included 12 V DC adapter or power the camera over Ethernet with IEEE 802.3at PoE+. A ceiling-mount bracket is included; compatible WM-1, WM-10 and WM-11 wall mounts are available separately.

12× OPTICAL ZOOM

The 4.4–52.8 mm lens frames both wide shots and distant speakers; 16× digital zoom is available when additional enlargement is needed.

SIMULTANEOUS OUTPUTS

HDMI, 3G-SDI and Ethernet/IP allow the camera to feed production and streaming systems in parallel.
