The Datavideo TP-650 is a large-screen teleprompter for reading scripts during studio and broadcast productions with ENG cameras. Its tablet holder accepts Apple iPads and Android tablets 145–265 mm wide when measured in portrait orientation, with Unicode language support. The low-iron 60/40 mirror reflects the script to the presenter while allowing the camera to capture their face without a colour tint from the glass. Scripts scroll in the dvPrompter Plus app; the optional WR-500 remote adds wired or Bluetooth control. A tripod and remote are not included.
Script in front of the lens
The TP-650 connects the camera setup to a tablet and a 60/40 mirror. The speaker reads the text at the lens level, while the camera captures the image through the glass without any color cast. The large-format mount is designed for tablets ranging from 145 to 265 mm in width.
The tripod shown in the photo is not included.
Customize the script for your tablet
The TP-650 supports both Apple iPad and Android tablets. The decisive factor is the tablet’s width in portrait orientation: 145 to 265 mm. The dvPrompter Plus app allows you to prepare the script and configure its display; the teleprompter supports Unicode for texts in various languages.
You can also control the scroll remotely
The optional WR-500 controls the dvPrompter Plus app via a cable or Bluetooth. While reading, you can pause or resume the scroll, adjust its speed and font size, jump to a marker in the script, or switch to the next text in the list.
The WR-500 is sold separately; it is not included with the TP-650 teleprompter.
