The Desview R6II Lite is a compact 5.5-inch camera monitor with a Full HD touchscreen and 1600-nit brightness that keeps the image readable even in direct sunlight. Its HDMI input and loop output handle signals up to 4K 30p, and it offers HDR monitoring (PQ and HLG), custom 3D LUTs and tools for precise image analysis. The magnetic sun hood goes on in seconds, and at just 340 g the monitor adds almost no weight to your rig.

Magnetic sun hood: quick installation and removal

The monitor and sun hood can be assembled into one unit – the magnet attaches and holds the hood automatically. Pull it upwards to unfold it, which greatly shortens installation and removal time.

The monitor comes with preloaded camera LUTs for several brands and also supports importing custom 3D LUTs from a USB drive, so you can define your own look.

Energy-saving ambient light sensor

The built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness to the lighting conditions – brighter in bright surroundings, dimmer in the dark. Monitoring stays comfortable and the monitor saves energy.

Powerful cooling, quiet operation

The active fan cooling system can be set to low, medium or high speed. It stays quiet and does not interfere with on-set work. Warm air exits through the top vents, fresh air is drawn in from the side and rear.

Power anywhere

The monitor runs on NP-F and LP-E6 batteries or a DC power supply. Multiple power options mean you never have to worry about running out of power mid-shoot.

DC power output

The monitor accepts DC 7–24 V input and provides an 8 V DC output that can also power your camera via a dummy battery.

Complete monitoring toolset

Equipped with a complete set of shooting aids – waveform, colour temperature, focus peaking, false colour, anamorphic mode, zebra, freeze frame and other professional functions that make shooting simpler.

Monitoring tools in practice

False colour marks individual exposure ranges in different colours, focus peaking shows where the focus is, and monochrome display helps with colour checks. Zebra warns of overexposure (70 IRE and 100 IRE modes), the center mark is available in red, green, blue or grey, and the safe area can be set to 80, 85, 90, 93 or 96%.
