The Desview R7III is a 7" touchscreen camera monitor with 2800-nit brightness that stays readable even in direct sunlight. It accepts HDMI 2.0 signals up to 4K 60p and passes them on via loop output, displays 10-bit colour (8-bit + FRC), and every unit is colour-calibrated before leaving the factory to Delta E < 2 within the film-grade DCI-P3 gamut. It runs on two NP-F batteries, the DC input or USB-C.

2800-nit brightness – fearless in sunlight

With an ultra-bright 2800-nit display, the monitor delivers clear visuals even outdoors in strong light. For comparison, a typical computer monitor manages around 500 nits and a MacBook Pro 1200 nits.

Full 4K 60fps upgrade

A smoother experience. 4K input at 60fps carries twice the video data of 4K at 30fps. The image is smoother and high-frame-rate footage from cameras keeps its dynamics.

Dual battery setup for continuous shooting

The monitor has two slots for NP-F series batteries (such as the NP-F970) and can also be powered via the DC input or USB-C. With several power options, it adapts to different shooting scenarios and requirements.

Film-grade professional colour accuracy

Every monitor undergoes colour calibration before leaving the factory to achieve Delta E < 2 within the film-grade DCI-P3 gamut.

High-quality IPS panel

The IPS LCD panel offers exceptional colour performance and a 160° viewing angle for a superior viewing experience. Compared with a regular panel, it renders colour transitions more smoothly.

Dynamic HDR monitoring – clearer brightness contrast

HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enhances detail in both the dark and bright parts of the image, for more realistic textures and more colour gradations.

Eco-friendly adaptive lighting system

A built-in light sensor adjusts the display brightness to changes in ambient light.

Intelligent, quick and smooth operation

A premium chip allows easy, convenient gesture control with just two fingers. Swipe up or down on the left half of the screen to adjust the backlight brightness, and on the right half to adjust the volume.

Custom 3D LUTs for creative styles

You can import multiple sets of custom LUTs and easily switch between creative styles.

Import via USB: upload LUT files from a USB drive; the monitor stores 50 to 60 user LUTs at a time.

Shock-proof rubber corners

The newly designed rubber corners improve shock absorption and protect the monitor in a collision.

Full range of auxiliary functions

The monitor offers a full range of shooting aids, such as full waveform, colour temperature, peak focus, false colour, deformation (anamorphic mode), zebra lines and still frame. Your most-used functions can be assigned to customizable shortcut keys.

Dimensions and connector layout

The monitor measures 190.2 × 117.7 × 52.3 mm. The left side carries the HDMI input and output with a 1/4" screw hole, the right side the DC input. On the bottom are the DC output, headphone jack, another 1/4" screw hole, USB-C port and USB port; on top are the F1–F3 buttons, indicator light and power button.
