Desview T12S Desview

Podrobný popis

The Desview T12S is a professional all-aluminum teleprompter designed for DSLR, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, and webcams, supporting smartphones and tablets up to 12.9 inches with high-definition 70/30 beam splitter glass, Bluetooth remote control, and free app support for smooth, natural on-camera delivery.

Modular rail-based design

The teleprompter is built on an aluminum rail on which the beam splitter glass, the tilt adjustment plate with the camera and the tablet clip are set independently. The glass height adjusts by 34 mm, the adjustment plate extends to a height of 70–104 mm and the tablet clip opens up to 268 mm, so the rig takes a small mirrorless camera as well as a larger camcorder.

Tilt adjustment plate

The camera adjustment plate does not extend straight up but at an angle. When you change its height, the distance between the lens and the beam splitter glass stays the same (A = B). The extension range is 70–104 mm, i.e. 34 mm.

70/30 beam splitter glass

The beam splitter glass with a 26-layer coating passes 70% of the light to the lens and reflects 30%. The script from the tablet reads without ghosting while the camera records through the glass in full quality. The glass has 7H hardness and measures 270 × 202 mm (12.9″).

Wide-angle lenses

The beam splitter glass can be moved up and down to suit different lenses. The teleprompter handles wide-angle shots down to 24 mm without the device frame showing up as vignetting. With an 18–105 mm zoom it works from 24 mm upwards without the frame intruding on the shot.

Sandblasted aluminum alloy

The load-bearing parts are made of aluminum alloy with a sandblasted surface. The thickened 8.2 mm material is sturdier and more durable, so the teleprompter stands up to long-term use. Its simple yet classic look suits the studio as well as location shoots.

Phone or tablet up to 12.9″

The rail-mounted tablet clip holds a phone or tablet up to a 12.9" iPad and opens up to 268 mm. The prompting device lies under the beam splitter glass, which reflects the script straight in front of the lens. The teleprompter can be used in landscape or portrait orientation.

DSLR, mirrorless and webcams

The main frame adjusts in several places, so the teleprompter base takes a DSLR, a mirrorless camera, a professional camera or a live-streaming webcam. The picture shows the main parts: teleprompter base, tilt adjustment plate, sunshade hood and beam splitter glass.

Detachable sunshade hood

The fabric sunshade hood covers the space between the beam splitter glass and the lens and blocks ambient light, so the script stays readable even in bright surroundings. It attaches and detaches easily, and the teleprompter folds into a compact shape for carrying.

Desview app and remote controller

The free Desview app for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) sets the font size and scrolling speed. The Bluetooth remote controller starts playback, changes the speed, scrolls the text up and down and opens the main menu (no function on iOS). The battery for the remote controller is not included.

Where the T12S fits

The teleprompter suits program recording, TV and media interviews, speeches, online course recording, vlogs, commercials and live-streaming sales. In video conferences you speak into the camera without looking away at notes on paper or on a separate screen.
