The Desview TP170 is a large-format professional teleprompter designed for tablets from 12.9" to 17". It offers 70/30 beamsplitter glass, an adjustable base and a collapsible hood. Compatible with webcams, DSLRs and camcorders, it includes a tablet clamp, a height-adjustable camera riser, a prompting app and a wireless remote control for seamless operation.

Integrated hood with magnetic folding

The beamsplitter glass and the hood form one unit that folds and locks magnetically in an instant, so the teleprompter can be set up and packed away in seconds. The drawstring hood wraps around the lens and keeps ambient light out.

Wide-angle shooting without vignetting

The teleprompter adjusts in several stacked steps, so it meets the wide-angle needs of many lenses. The beamsplitter glass adjusts in height by 50 mm, the camera riser lifts the camera to 60–95 mm and slides up to 360 mm along the rail, and the tablet clamp extends up to 300 mm.

Patented inclined camera riser

The camera riser lifts the camera at an angle, so the distance between the lens and the glass stays the same while the height is adjusted between 60 and 95 mm. The camera lines up with the glass without further shifting.

Sandblasted aluminum alloy

The aluminum alloy construction has a sandblasted surface that feels pleasant to the touch, resists scratches and does not slip. The camera riser and the other parts lock onto the rail with locking levers.

Modular design for various cameras

The base, camera riser, beamsplitter glass with hood and tablet clamp assemble modularly. The teleprompter works with a DSLR, a camcorder or a webcam, and you can start shooting without complicated assembly and adjustment.

Tablets up to 17" in landscape or portrait

The tablet clamp on the rail extends up to 300 mm and holds a tablet or monitor up to 17 inches – for example 12.9", 15.6" or 17". The script can be displayed in landscape or portrait orientation.

Vertical shooting with an L-bracket

By default the camera shoots in landscape orientation. With an L-bracket (not included) you can turn it to portrait and shoot vertical video for TikTok and YouTube.

Beamsplitter glass with 26 coating layers

The optical beamsplitter glass transmits 70 % of the light to the lens and reflects 30 %, so the script is clearly readable and the camera captures true colors. The glass has 26 coating layers.
