The DZOFILM Arles Prime 18 mm T1.4 is a fast full-frame / Vista Vision cine lens with a PL mount, designed for wide-angle shots, working in confined spaces, and low-light conditions. With a 46.5 mm image circle, a 16-blade aperture, a minimum focus distance of 0.29 m, and the consistent mechanics of the Arles series, it is ideally suited for professional film workflows.
Wide Angle, Precise Rendering
The Arles Prime 18 mm T1.4 brings a wide perspective to the lineup of fast full-frame cine lenses. Its T1.4 maximum aperture facilitates shooting in low light while offering significant control over depth of field.
For wide focal lengths ranging from 14–25 mm, the manufacturer uses a pair of aspherical elements to minimize spherical aberration, coma, and wide-angle distortion. The series maintains neutral colors and a consistent control interface across focal lengths.
