The Gnosis 65 mm T2.8 Macro Prime is a professional manual cine macro lens with a metric scale. It combines a longer working distance of 237 mm with a maximum magnification of 1.33×, providing ample space for lighting and precise focus control in product, tabletop, and close-up shots.

A 46.5 mm full-frame image circle, an aperture range of T2.8–T22, and interchangeable PL, EF, and LPL mounts allow it to be integrated into professional cine setups ranging from full-frame to larger sensors.

For products, textures, and VFX

The 65 mm focal length is suitable for detailed work where distance from the subject is important: product cinematography, food styling, small mechanical parts, materials, and nature shots. We thus retain the practical applications from the original description, but without the unverified claim of a 1:1 ratio.

The optical design, consisting of 11 elements in 8 groups, is engineered for macro use; the rugged aluminum body and protective case support repeated use in production and rental environments.
