The DZOFilm Octopus EF → L-Mount is a mechanical adapter for using Canon EF lenses on cameras with an L-Mount. The active lock creates a secure, wobble-free connection; stainless steel, aluminum, internal knurling, and a 1/4″-20 mounting foot help maintain rig stability and focus at infinity.

Octopus allows you to use Canon EF lenses on an L-Mount body. The active lock is designed for a secure connection without play or wobble when working with cine lenses and a rig.

It is a purely mechanical adapter with no optical elements; therefore, when properly mounted, it does not cause image cropping or vignetting on its own.

Active Lock

The Active Lock design restricts movement between the lens and the camera without the need for additional adjustment.

Infinity Focus Without Compromise

The precision-machined flange maintains the ability to focus to infinity for accurate long-distance work.

Stable Rig

The 1/4″-20 threaded support takes some of the load off longer lenses and reduces stress on the mount.
