The DZOFilm Vespid 16mm T2.8 FF is a compact fully manual ultra-wide PL-mount cine lens for full-frame and Vista Vision cameras. Its 46.5mm image circle, 0.25m close focus, sixteen-blade iris and long 270° focus rotation suit establishing shots, interiors, architecture, gimbals, drones and confined spaces, while consistent geared-ring positions simplify lens changes in a cine rig.

A 16mm view for expansive scenes

The ultra-wide focal length suits establishing shots, interiors, architecture, camera movement and locations where stepping back is impossible. A 0.25m close-focus distance also supports emphasized perspective and near foregrounds.

Smooth focus transitions

A 16-blade iris and APO optical design help create natural defocus, control chromatic aberration and retain neutral colour reproduction. Fully manual operation supports repeatable focus pulls and exposure changes.

Precise, repeatable focusing

The focus ring provides 270° of travel for fine adjustments. Low-breathing internal mechanics keep the lens length constant while focusing and help a balanced rig stay stable.

Compact all-metal construction

The aluminium body weighs approximately 930 g, while the 46.5mm image circle covers full-frame and Vista Vision sensors. This is a fully manual cine lens without electronic communication or optical stabilization.
