Consistent focus and iris gear positions across the Vespid range make lens changes faster without repeatedly repositioning motors and the matte box. Standard 0.8 MOD gearing works with follow-focus units and lens motors, while the 80mm front and 77mm filter thread support a broad accessory ecosystem.

Natural bokeh and neutral colour

The sixteen-blade iris produces smooth round highlights and a gentle transition between in-focus and out-of-focus areas. The APO optical design reduces chromatic aberration and preserves balanced colour with rendering that feels modern without becoming clinical.

Stable framing through a focus pull

Minimal focus breathing reduces changes in angle of view while refocusing. The 270° manual focus rotation supports fine, repeatable pulls whether you work directly on the lens, with a follow focus or with a remote focus puller.

Compact enough for varied production
