The Vespid Prime 75mm T2.1 is a compact telephoto for full-frame camera setups. It offers precise manual focusing, a 16-blade iris and mechanics matched to the rest of the series.

75 mm: separation and focus

The 75mm focal length helps separate a subject from its surroundings while retaining a comfortable camera distance. It suits portraits, dialogue and more compressed detail shots.

Smooth focus transitions

A 16-blade iris and APO optical design help create natural defocus, control chromatic aberration and retain neutral colour reproduction. Fully manual operation supports repeatable focus pulls and exposure changes.

Precise, repeatable focusing

The focus ring provides 270° of travel for fine adjustments. Low-breathing internal mechanics keep the lens length constant while focusing and help a balanced rig stay stable.

Compact all-metal construction

The aluminium body weighs approximately 887 g, while the 46.5mm image circle covers full-frame and Vista Vision sensors. This is a fully manual cine lens without electronic communication or optical stabilization.

Vespid Prime covers a 46.5mm image circle for full-frame and Vista Vision sensors. Its compact dimensions and low weight support handheld, gimbal and drone work.

The optical design controls focus breathing: the front does not rotate and the lens length does not change while focusing. It has matched cine gears, an 80mm front, M77 thread, 16-blade iris, 0.8 MOD gearing and 270° focus rotation. The PL mount is interchangeable, and an optional rear magnetic filter provides a fast way to change image character.
