The DZOFILM X-tract 18–28 mm T8 0° / 90° / 360° is a three-piece full-frame set of parfocal macro zoom probes. It combines a straight 0° probe, a 90° right-angle periscope, and a 360° periscope for product shots, tabletop photography, liquids, and detailed work in confined spaces.

Three Ways to Capture Macro Shots

The X-tract 18–28 mm T8 set combines three separate PL probes for different perspectives. The straight 0° version is used for head-on passes, the 90° periscope is for working along the surface, and the 360° periscope adds rotational orientation to the shot.

All three designs are parfocal full-frame 18–28 mm zooms with a constant T8–T45 aperture, allowing you to change your viewpoint without leaving the same imaging and control workflow.

0° Direct

A direct probe with a 29.6 mm tapered nose for tight spaces and a head-on view.

90° periscope

Rectangular perspective with a rotating ring for precise composition.

360° periscope

Periscope view with continuous rotation for an extra dimension in shot orientation.

Working setup with the straight 0° X-tract probe; this is not output footage from the lens.

Unified cine workflow

Each configuration offers a 18–28 mm focal length, a 43.2 mm image circle, a minimum focus distance of 0.47 m from the sensor plane, a working distance of 6 mm from the front, and up to 2.1× magnification at 28 mm. Aperture, focus, and zoom controls have a range of 72° / 300° / 100°.

The 90° and 360° periscope models use a square front filter measuring 37.7 × 30.58 mm. Footage from the right-angle/periscope designs may require mirror flipping depending on the selected orientation.
