Easy monitoring , power and focus, flexible mobility on set
Normally, equipment such as monitor, wireless transmission, photography light, etc., is needed to use in film and television crews. With so many equipments, it is troublesome to connect all kinds of cables. FEELWORLD F7 PRO 7-inch monitor, with full HD LCD touch screen, supports HDMI signal up to 4K 60Hz, professional and rich auxiliary composition tools, etc. The special feature of the F7 PRO is the F970 external install and power kit, it can install like wireless transmission, LED light and others equipped with a Sony F970 battery plate, and power for it. This design not only eliminates the trouble of arranging various cables but also combines the monitor and wireless video transmission, which is perfect for director monitoring, 1st AC to focus pulling in the film crew.

Full HD 1920 × 1200, touchscreen

The F7 PRO is a seven-inch on-camera monitor for the director and the operator alike. Its 1920 × 1200 IPS panel at 323 pixels per inch shows detail that gets lost on the camera screen. It has a 4K HDMI input and output, so the picture passes on to another monitor or recorder.

1200:1 contrast, 160° viewing angles

At 500 cd/m² it is bright enough indoors and in the shade; for direct sun FEELWORLD has a brighter range. The panel is touch-driven, takes custom 3D LUTs and offers HDR preview, so you see the finished look while shooting rather than in the edit.

Custom 3D LUTs and true colour

Load your own 3D LUT and the picture is shown the way it will look after grading. The panel is calibrated to the Rec.709 film standard, so the shades match what you will see in post.

Tools for the set

Waveform, vector scope, histogram, peaking, false colours, zebra, per-channel check field, nine grid, markers, anamorphic mode, image flip, zoom and embedded audio. It is all touch-driven, so you reach a function faster than through buttons.

Focus and exposure

Peaking in five colours

Peaking outlines the edges in focus — in yellow, red, green, blue or white, so you can pick whichever stands out best against the shot. False colours turn brightness into a colour map in two modes, and zebra hatches over blown-out areas.

Checking the colour channels

The picture can be shown in the red, green or blue channel alone, or in monochrome. It helps reveal a colour cast or noise that stays hidden in the full image.

Power and mounting

The monitor can power the camera

A DC 8 V output powers the camera straight from the monitor — the dummy battery cable is not in the box, though, and is bought separately. The monitor itself runs from a Sony F970 battery, from DC 12 V or over Type-C. The adapter beneath it tilts through 180° and rotates through 360°; a sunhood is available separately.
