FEELWORLD LUT5 is a 5.5-inch ultra-high bright on-camera monitor, with 3000nit ultra-high brightness, the screen is clearly visible in the sun. Full HD LCD touch screen, easy to operate; supports HDMI signal 4K@30Hz, HDR monitoring, custom 3D LUT and other professional auxiliary composition tools. There is a F970 external install and powr kit on the rear of LUT5, which can install such as wireless transmission, LED light, etc. It combines the monitor with wireless transmission to get rid of unnecessary cables, , which is perfect for director monitoring, 1st AC to focus pulling in the film crew. The compact size and lightweight can be used with a gimbal to move quickly on set.

FEELWORLD LUT5 is a 5.5-inch on-camera monitor with 3000nit ultra-high brightness, so the picture stays readable in direct sun. It has a Full HD touch panel, handles HDMI up to 4K@30Hz, HDR monitoring, custom 3D LUTs and other professional framing tools. On the rear there is an F970 external install and power kit, on which you mount and from which you power a wireless transmitter or an LED light. The compact size and low weight suit a gimbal when you need to move fast on set.

View clearly and capture every detail with confidence

The LUT5 comes with a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 panel. 3000nit brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and sRGB / Rec.709 colour gamut give a readable image even in intense light. At 368 pixels per inch you can judge the picture right on set. The 160° viewing angle is enough for the whole crew to watch.

For outdoor shooting

With 3000 nits of brightness the LUT5 is not afraid of strong light. The picture stays readable outdoors, so you can shoot without a sunshade.

Light sensor for auto dimming

The monitor has an ambient light sensor. From a dim studio to a sunny location, from midnight moonlight to noon sunshine, it adjusts its brightness to the environment you are filming in.

Full touch screen

Fast and responsive

The touch interface handles the important monitoring functions with a tap and a swipe, without buttons.

Double-tap the screen to enter the main menu. Swipe up from the bottom to open the shortcut menu and tap to turn on or set the corresponding function; double-tap an item to set it with the "<" and ">" keys. On the left half of the screen you adjust the backlight brightness, on the right half the volume. Tap beside the menu to exit.

Built-in cooling system

Vents in three directions

Inside there is a heat-conducting unit and a low-consumption fan, plus cooling holes on several sides. Air is drawn in from the side and the rear and leaves through the top, so the monitor does not overheat at 3000 nits.

True colour

Calibrated to the Rec.709 standard

FEELWORLD calibrates the monitors at the factory with a professional instrument to the Rec.709 standard. Colours are therefore not distorted and you see the image as it really is while shooting.

The monitor holds a colour space consistent with the ITU and Rec.709 standards. That lets you judge the quality of a shot on set rather than in the edit.

F970 external install and power kit

Less clutter on the camera

On the back there is a Sony F970 kit on which you mount and from which you power external devices — a wireless transmitter, an LED light, a converter. It saves space and weight, because the device needs neither its own battery nor its own bracket.

The kit has two cross slots, so you adjust the position of the device by loosening the screws. When you do not need it, the same screws take the whole kit off.

4K HDMI input and output

The LUT5 takes in and passes on a signal up to 4K@30Hz. The loop-through is lossless, so the picture stays clean both on the monitor and on the device downstream.

DC power supply

Powers your camera too

The LUT5 has a DC IN 12V input plus an auxiliary DC OUT 8V output from which you power your camera. With a battery adapter cable (optional) this extends the camera run-time while giving you a more usable display.

The output is a barrel connector; the camera connects to it through a DC coupler for the specific model (NP-FW50 Sony, LP-E6 Canon, DMW-BLF19 Panasonic).

Note: different brands and models need different power, so the camera may not shoot stills or video normally. When powering the monitor from a battery, use a fully charged, higher-capacity battery.

Lasts outdoors too

On the rear there is a plate for standard Sony NP-F series batteries. Because the LUT5 runs at 3000 nits, it draws more power than ordinary monitors — we recommend an F970 battery. With one (7.4V, 6600 mAh) the monitor runs for about 2.5 hours.

Compatible Sony NP-F batteries: F970, F960, F950, F930, F770, F750, F730, F570, F550 and F530 series. A higher-capacity battery lasts longer.

Tools for precise work

The monitor offers a suite of assist tools: waveform, vectorscope, histogram, focus peaking, false colours, zebra, zoom, image flip, embedded audio meters, nine grid and anamorphic de-squeeze.

Custom 3D LUTs

Up to 50 custom LUTs

Loading LUTs makes colour calibration more intuitive and saves time early in the workflow. Use the built-in LOG conversions or upload your own .cube files via the SD card slot and switch between them during the shoot.

All scopes mode

The scopes can be switched on one by one, or all at once with a single command — the picture shrinks and the waveform, vectorscope and histogram are drawn around it.
