FEELWORLD LUT6E is a 6-inch field monitor with 1600nits brightness, the screen visible even in sunlight. The compact size and lightweight design let it suitable for movable shooting on set. Equipped with HDMI input and output support up to 4K@30Hz, and a series professional composition tools, ideal choice for photographer and content creator.

Full HD 1920 × 1080, 300 grams

The LUT6E is a six-inch field monitor for cameras with an HDMI output. The IPS panel at 1600 cd/m² stays readable in direct sunlight even without a sunshade, so you can shoot outdoors without improvised shading.

The body weighs 300 grams and measures 162 × 93 × 29 mm. On a gimbal, a camera cage or an articulating arm it works without upsetting the balance of the rig.

The screen is Full HD with a pixel density of 368 PPI, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 160°/160° viewing angles. Colour reproduction follows the Rec.709 standard, so what you see on set is what you get in the edit.

The menu is operated by touch — a double tap opens the main menu, dragging near the edges changes backlight and volume. The on-screen menu is available in eleven languages: English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch, German, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Russian.

Custom 3D LUTs from an SD card

Up to 32 tables, .cube format

Conversion tables load from an SD card — the monitor holds up to thirty-two of them. You see the target look while shooting and post-production picks it up without surprises. Besides your own tables the monitor also does Log to Rec.709 conversion.

The tool set covers waveform and all waves, parade (RGB, YUV, Y), vector scope, brightness and RGB histogram, peaking in five colours with ten levels, false colours, zebra from 10 to 100 %, check field, under and over scan, pixel to pixel, 2×, 4×, 9× and 16× zoom, nine grid, centre, safety and ratio markers, anamorphic mode 1.33×, 1.6× and 2.0×, image flip and freeze, monochrome preview, colour temperature adjustment and embedded audio.

HDMI input and output up to 4K

Loop-through for a second monitor

The monitor has both an HDMI input and an output and accepts signals up to 4096 × 2160p/30. The output passes the same picture on, so you can chain a second monitor or a recorder without splitting the signal.

Supported formats: 480i/576i/480p/576p, 1080i (60/59.94/50), 720p and 1080p (60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25/24/23.98), 3840 × 2160p and 4096 × 2160p (30/29.97/25/24/23.98). Audio embedded in HDMI comes out of the 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack.

Power and camera output

Sony NP-F plate, DC 7–24 V

On the back is a plate for Sony NP-F batteries — F970, F960, F950, F930, F770, F750, F730, F570, F550 and F530. The second option is a 12 V / 1.5 A mains adapter into the DC input. Neither battery nor adapter is included.

The DC 8.4 V output powers the camera itself through the matching adapter cable, so the rig runs on one battery less. The monitor draws no more than 10 W. To switch it off press the power button rather than pulling the cable out.

Mounting and what comes with it

Tilt arm with a rotating shoe

There are 1/4"-20 threads on the right side and on the bottom, so the monitor goes on a cage, an articulating arm or straight into the camera hot shoe. The box holds a tilt arm with a cold-shoe foot that rotates through 360°, so a microphone or a light stays put when you turn the monitor.

A mini HDMI and micro HDMI to HDMI cable is included, so the monitor connects to most mirrorless and DSLR cameras without buying anything else. Operating temperature is −20 to 50 °C.
