The Hollyland Astra P1 is a professional UHD 4K PTZ camera with 30× optical zoom designed for live broadcasts, events, religious services, conference rooms, and education. It combines a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor, 4K60 recording, AI presenter tracking, automatic face-based exposure, and integrated NDI®|HX3 support for modern IP production.

The Hollyland Astra P1 is built for venues where one camera has to cover a large scene reliably: houses of worship, auditoriums, conferences, lectures and live productions. It combines UHD 4K60 imaging, a large 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and a 30× optical zoom lens, so the operator can move from wide venue shots to detailed close-ups without losing clarity.

Clean detail, even in difficult light

Large venues are rarely lit like a studio. Astra P1’s 1/1.8" sensor improves per-pixel light intake and helps keep the picture clean and low-noise. Face Detection AE continuously optimises exposure around the subject, so the presenter stays readable as stage lighting changes.

30× optical zoom and smooth PTZ movement

The 30× optical zoom lens reaches from 7.1 to 210 mm and is supported by 16× digital zoom. With pan from ±170°, tilt from -30° to +90° and preset accuracy of 0.1°, Astra P1 can recall repeated stage angles precisely and move between them smoothly.

AI tracking and NDI workflow

Presenter Tracking analyses posture and movement to keep the subject locked, while Zone Tracking lets the user define up to four key areas such as a podium, whiteboard or demo table. For IP production, an NDI®|HX3 license is included, enabling low-latency 4K video over Ethernet for OBS, vMix and broadcast systems.
