Standalone Hollyland Pyro Ultra TX transmitter to expand or complete a Pyro Ultra system. On the camera it takes the signal via HDMI 2.0 (up to 4K60) or 3G-SDI (up to 1080p60), transmits it at 12 Mbps up to 1.5 km and passes the picture on through a 4K60 HDMI loop-out at the same time. It runs on an NP-F battery or a 6–16 V DC supply.

One transmitter for the whole crew

In Broadcast Mode the transmitter serves an unlimited number of receivers, with stable operation ensured for up to 20. The standard setup offers 6 monitoring screens: 4 receivers and 2 mobile apps.

True 4K60 at 12 Mbps

Pyro Ultra transmits true 4K at 60 frames per second over HDMI at a bitrate of 12 Mbps. The TWiFi codec preserves detail, subtle gradations and depth.

HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs

The transmitter has an HDMI 2.0 input, an HDMI 2.0 loop-out and a 3G-SDI input, plus USB-C and a DC power input. It is powered by an NP-F battery (6.8–8.4 V) or a 6–16 V supply.

Proprietary TWiFi technology

TWiFi combines the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands into a single composite link that is more resilient than conventional dual-band transmission. Automatic frequency hopping avoids congested channels without manual intervention.

Focus Mode and streaming

With Pyro Ultra receivers, Focus Mode delivers latency from 20 ms. The receiver can then pass the picture to a computer via UVC up to 4K60 or stream it over RTMP up to 1080p60.

The whole Pyro ecosystem

Pyro Ultra works with Pyro 5 and Pyro 7 in both Broadcast and non-Broadcast Mode, and with Pyro H and Vcore in non-Broadcast Mode. Pyro S currently supports non-Broadcast Mode only; Broadcast support will come with a firmware update.
