Hollyland Vcore turns your phone or tablet into a camera monitor. It connects to the camera via HDMI and to the phone either with a USB-C cable for monitoring up to 4K30, or wirelessly over 5 GHz up to 100 m, for up to four HollyView apps at once. It records proxy files to an SD card, enables ProRes recording with an iPhone and its 5150 mAh battery charges the connected device.

Your phone as a monitor

A 220 g transmitter that links your camera with a phone or tablet by cable or wirelessly, and also records, transfers photos and streams.

On-camera monitor over USB-C

Vcore connects to the camera via HDMI (the HDMI cable for your camera model is sold separately) and to the phone via USB-C. The HollyView app shows up to 4K30 wired and up to 1080p60 wirelessly.

Phones, tablets and Pyro receivers

Vcore works with Android and iOS phones and tablets and with Pyro series receivers. The signal travels over 5 GHz up to 100 m line of sight with around 65 ms latency; with Pyro S or Pyro H receivers it also carries 4K30. Setups: 1 transmitter and 4 apps, 2 apps and 1 receiver, or 2 receivers.

Proxy recording for post-production

Vcore records H.264 proxy files up to 1080p60 to an SD card, picks up the camera frame rate and timecode, and the files link easily in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. The connected phone can record MP4 at the same time for quick sharing.

ProRes on iPhone and iPad

With an iPhone or iPad, Vcore enables Apple ProRes 422, 422 HQ, 422 LT and 422 Proxy recording at 4K30 or 1080p60.

Stream from anywhere

Go live via RTMP or straight from the app with the built-in SDK on YouTube, Twitch and other platforms. Real-time green screen keying preview helps you check the shot on set.

5150 mAh battery

The built-in battery lasts up to 6 hours and charges an iPhone or iPad while monitoring. Emergency charging switches off when Vcore reaches 55 °C.

Phone holder and magnetic mount

The phone attaches to Vcore with the phone holder or the magnetic mount, both included. The body has front and rear cold shoe mounts and a 1/4″ screw hole.
