The Tilta Hydra Alien Pro Car Mounting System (V-Mount) is a professional-grade vehicle camera rig designed to deliver ultra-smooth motion shots in demanding automotive filming environments. This advanced system combines a robust modular mounting platform with sophisticated shock absorption technology to minimize high-frequency vibrations and road-induced movement. Utilizing powerful 6" suction cups, dovetail plates and 19mm rods, users can precisely position their camera rig on a vehicle to achieve nearly any desired angle.

The Hydra Alien Pro features a redesigned shock-absorbing arm and head with built-in damping and payload adjustment, supporting rigs from lightweight mirrorless setups to heavy cinema camera configurations. A swappable shock absorber kit allows fine-tuning for different payload weights, while included counterweights help maintain balance and stability. The arm supports payloads up to 28.7 lb (13 kg), making it compatible with professional gimbals such as the DJI RS 4 Pro, Ronin 4D, MoVI Pro and Ronin-M.

Power is supplied via a dual V-mount battery plate, delivering reliable energy to both the system and mounted gimbal. The built-in OLED touchscreen display provides real-time control and monitoring of damping tension, payload mode, battery status and wireless signal. Additionally, users can wirelessly adjust damping and payload settings using the optional Tilta Nucleus Nano 2 from up to 328 feet away.
