Insta360 Ace Pro 2 in Arctic White is the standard single-battery bundle of the 8K action camera co-engineered with Leica. A 1/1.3" sensor behind an F2.6 Summarit lens and two processing chips deliver 8K30 video, 4K60 Active HDR and 50 MP photos, while PureVideo mode keeps night shots clean. The camera is waterproof to 12 m out of the box, works from -20 °C to 45 °C and has a 2.5" flip touchscreen at 900 nits for framing selfies in daylight. The integrated Wind Guard cuts wind noise on a bike or a board, FlowState stabilisation and 360° Horizon Lock keep the frame level, and the 1800 mAh battery runs up to 180 minutes and charges to 80 % in 18 minutes.

The flagship, in white

Arctic White is the same camera as the black Ace Pro 2 — the 1/1.3" sensor, the Leica lens, 8K30, the flip screen and 12 m of waterproofing — in a finish that stands out on a helmet or a handlebar instead of disappearing into it. This is the standard bundle: camera, one battery, standard mount, mic cap and cable.

8K that still works after dark

A 1/1.3" sensor and a Leica Summarit lens at F2.6 gather the light; two chips — a dedicated imaging processor plus a 5nm AI chip — turn it into a clean picture. Video runs to 8K30, Active HDR to 4K60, and PureVideo mode lifts brightness and detail in a night street or a dim interior without the noise that usually comes with it.

Wind noise handled by hardware

The Wind Guard is built in rather than glued on: acoustic foam behind a metal mesh, snapped on for a motorbike or a downhill run and off again for everything else. FlowState stabilisation with a six-axis gyroscope and 360° Horizon Lock keeps the frame level whatever the bike is doing underneath you.

Into the water, into the cold

Waterproof to 12 metres straight out of the box, or to 60 with the Dive Case, and rated from -20 °C to 45 °C — so a lake, a snowfield and a summer road trip are all inside the specification rather than a risk. The lens guard is removable and replaceable, which is what saves the camera on the first bad landing.

Controls you can use with gloves on

Gesture control starts and stops recording without touching the camera, Voice Control 2.0 answers when it is out of reach, and the 2.5" flip touchscreen composes a selfie shot at 900 nits — readable in direct sun. AI Highlights then picks the best moments out of a long file, so an evening of footage becomes a clip without an edit session.
