The Insta360 GPS Action Remote (INST110-18) controls compatible Insta360 cameras via Bluetooth 5.0 from a distance of up to 20 m. The built-in GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, and GLONASS) records location data for display in videos. The remote is IPX8 water-resistant up to 5 m and allows you to connect up to three compatible cameras.
GPS ACTION REMOTE
Start or stop recording on a compatible Insta360 camera via Bluetooth 5.0 from up to 20 m away from the remote. The remote also supports remotely waking up a compatible camera.
GNSS combines GPS, BeiDou, and GLONASS. To receive a location, keep the top of the remote control unobstructed and use it outdoors; obstacles and water may limit the signal.
GPS DATA FOR VIDEO
The remote can add location data obtained from satellite systems to recordings from compatible cameras. For better reception during recording, do not cover the top of the remote and avoid locations where surrounding obstacles block the signal.
The remote’s IPX8 water resistance rating (up to 5 m) does not mean that the GPS works underwater. Do not rely on underwater location data.
CONTROL ON THE GO
Bluetooth 5.0 allows you to remotely start and stop recording and control up to three compatible cameras within a range of 20 m. The remote also supports remotely waking up a compatible camera if it is turned off.
Wrist and Equipment Mounting
The package includes a wrist strap and a universal strap. Choose the mounting method based on your equipment and follow the manufacturer’s instructions during installation.
IPX8 WATER RESISTANCE UP TO 5 M
The remote is designed for wet environments and submersion to a depth of 5 m, in accordance with the IPX8 rating. Water resistance applies to the remote; satellite signal reception underwater is not reliable.

Do not cover the top of the controller to ensure proper GPS reception. Buildings, trees, weather, and underwater environments may interfere with the satellite signal.
