The official Insta360 X4 Invisible Dive Case lets you capture 360° footage underwater at depths of up to 50 m. Its domed design compensates for light refraction and supports seamless stitching. Before submerging, fit the case, enable Dive Case Mode and remove any lens guards. For clean stitching, keep the camera and selfie stick aligned and avoid pointing either lens directly at the water surface.

The domed cover of the Insta360 X4 Dive Case compensates for light refraction in water and helps create seamless 360° stitching. It is designed exclusively for X4 and protects the camera to depths of 50 m.

A dome designed for underwater shooting

Underwater recording requires a dive case to account for light refraction. Fit X4 into the case, enable Dive Case Mode and remove lens guards. Keep the camera and selfie stick aligned; do not point either lens directly at the water surface.

The case is not compatible with lens guards.

Check the seal and care after a dive

Before closing the case, inspect the seal ring and its contact surfaces. They must be free from sand, dust, lint and other debris. Do not open the case while it is wet.

After use in seawater, securely close the case and soak it in fresh water for 5–10 minutes. Rinse gently and dry with a soft cloth.
