Its graphene-based phase-change material helps dissipate heat; Insta360 support says the cover lowers the temperature felt by your hand, not the heat produced by the camera. Intended for still, windless use. Not for sports or water use, and incompatible with the Invisible Dive Case, Utility Frame, Water Sports Rope Mount, and Cold Shoe.

The cover lowers the temperature felt by your hand when holding the X4. It does not cool the camera or reduce the heat it produces.

GRAPHENE-BASED PCMs IN POLYCARBONATE

The polycarbonate body contains graphene-based phase-change materials that help dissipate heat.

Fit the cover carefully to a dry camera to avoid scratching the lenses. Do not fit or remove it while recording, as this can affect 360° image stitching.
